Biography
(b. 1989) Dana Joras is an award-winning flutist and composer living in the Kansas City metro. Dana studied at DePaul University in Chicago and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Her compositions are whimsical and charming, drawing inspiration from her love of technical and showy flute playing. Dana is a member of Chicago-based Celtic Rock Band, Logical Fleadh, playing irish wood flutes and whistles. The band's latest album was released in early 2023 and has been played worldwide. In addition to performing and composing, Dana also loves to read, write fantasy novels, and work in her colorful and inspirational garden. She also referees high school soccer and spends time with her husband, son, and dogs.

Celtic Rock Band

Dana plays flutes and whistles with Celtic rock band, Logical Fleadh (aka Character Fleadh). Their latest album was released in early 2023. The tracks on Logical Fleadh marry Irish/Scottish tunes/songs with a driving rock rhythm section - connecting tradition to the present day.
